How your data is handled
Receipt images are analyzed through an authenticated server function, so the AI model key is never embedded in the app you download. Team invites and subscription entitlements are verified server-side, which means access can’t be forged from a modified client.
On device, a biometric App Lock (Face ID or fingerprint) gates the entire app. And because we believe your records belong to you, Proofly can export a complete JSON backup of everything — plus CSV, PDF statements and QuickBooks / Xero files — at any time. No lock-in, ever.
